Coverage

A) Window Frames

Window frames are warranted against breakage, deformation, disintegration at its corners and significant corrosion. Damages that are caused by force majeure are generally excluded. Damages that arise from improper use, such as excessive force during operation (e.g slamming), are also excluded from the warranty.

B) Frame Colors

The powder coating finish is warranted against peeling. Normal fading of colors is excluded from the warranty Damages that are caused by the prolonged use of protection tapes, the use of cleaning agents, or the use of scraping tools are excluded. We recommend cleaning of frames with soapy water or Turpentine (“Nam man son”).

C) Hardware

Hardware is warranted against malfunction that occurs despite an appropriate operation. Damages that originate from improper treatment during construction works, e.g. dirt and dust that damages hardware (especially rollers and friction hinges), are not covered. Damages caused by wind in conjunction with improper storage (especially for folding and casement doors) are also excluded. In case of arising problems (noticeable by grinding noises, jerky movement, or scratch marks) the customer shall be obliged to keep the damage as minimal as possible. This means refraining from using excessive force and employing lubricants where possible. Generally, we recommend the use of silicone spray (e.g. Sonax, WD40) every three months to ease the load for the hardware. Overall most hardware failures can be prevented by timely readjustment.

D) Glass

The warranty for glass covers the delamination of laminated glass, the leakage of insulated panels, and the pealing of coatings. Cracks and scratches are not covered.

E) Installation

The installation (if conducted by Grafinger) is warranted against cracked or faulty sealing and against fixture failures. Failures that result from low-quality brick/structural works or peeling of wall colors are excluded. Please note that only sealing that is done by our installation is warranted. In case of unready cement works, tile or sandwash works that prevent us from conducting the sealing, no warranty can be given.

F) Mosquito Screens

Mosquito screens are warranted against poor craftsmanship. The net itself is excluded from the warranty.

Exlusions

Issues which arise as a late consequence of mistreatment during construction phase or which arise due to neglect and absence of basic care are excluded from the warranty.
